Mortgage Advisor Positions Available
We are currently in the process of hiring a mortgage advisor to join our growing sales team. This role is an integral part of creating positive customer experiences by providing relationship solutions throughout the service and sales life cycle. In this position, you will work with clients to gain a complete picture of their financial situation and personal goals. You will then use this information to education clients, advise them, and assist them in setting clear goal and expectations for their loan process.
You must be able to work full-time in our Houston office and must have 1+ years in the mortgage industry or an inside sales background. You will be expected to focus on building a solid pipeline in the first six months of employment, establish relationships with local real estate professionals, and will ideally have expertise originating Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
Must supply proof of performance from previous roles.
How do you know if you will shine in this application process? The ideal candidate has had experience with loan origination, customer service, and/or relationship management and has expertise with a variety of loan programs and lenders. Having an established network of realtor partners and other business referral sources will also give you a leg up and a greater chance at success.
This candidate also has specific technical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, database applications, Adobe Acrobat, and CRMs. An NMLS license is preferred but not required. Lastly, we want all of our employees to have a good attitude and work ethic, but our ideal candidate is a driven and open-minded individual who wants to be part of an exciting venture set out to change the mortgage service landscape in the US.
